HELLO, MY NAME IS
Olivia Burton
Acro/Fundamentals/Jazz/Choreographer/Company
A dancer from the start, Olivia began her dance career at the age of 1.5 and she hasn’t slowed down since. She started dancing in the competitive circuit at the age of 2, attending numerous competitions and conventions such as NUVO where she was able to work closely with Chloe and Maud Arnold.
In high school, Olivia joined the varsity dance team where the team won multiple regional and national competitions. During her time on the dance team, Olivia was able to share her leadership and choreography skills as both captain and choreographer.
After graduating high school, she attended NOVA community college, and Point Park University, where she studied jazz dance. Olivia has trained with numerous professional artists such as Thayne Jasperson (Broadway’s Hamilton), Chloe and Maude Arnold, and Debbie Wilson. Through these years of training, Olivia’s artistry and passion for dance only grew.
She coached the Colonial Forge dance team for two years where she taught technique, hip hop, lyrical and choreographed for the team.
Olivia joined Polaris Dance as a dance student and company member in 2018 where it quickly became her second home. She is beyond excited to be able to continue her dance training and teach all that she has learned thus far!
Update: In 2022 Olivia will put her teaching job on hold while she furthers her dance career dancing for Norwegian Cruise Lines! Good luck Miss Olivia! See you soon!
