Grace Griffin has been teaching and choreographing since she was 15 years old. Beginning her dance training at age 10 at Dance in the Light Studio under the instruction of Kristen Ozura. There Grace found an immediate passion for dancing. She was part of the competition team there for three years, at the same time she was participating in Christian Youth Theater, where she performed for 8 years. She then moved to The Fredericksburg Studio of the Arts to pursue dance at a more intense level. Grace was on the competitive dance team at FSA for one year under the instruction of Samantha Graves. She won many awards such as 2nd place overall for her solo in the elite level, invitations to many exclusive dance workshops, and eleven invitations to the World Dance Pageant in New Jersey. Though Grace has been on the stage for years, her true passion is in the classroom teaching others to love dance and performing. Grace has been the assistant choreographer for numerous CYT Fredericksburg Mainstage shows, choreographed class showcase numbers for CYT Fredericksburg, taught summer dance classes for CYT Fredericksburg, and The Fredericksburg Studio of the Arts. Grace is currently pursuing her bachelor’s in business administration (BBA) at Germanna Community College.
